even in congregation sanctioned duties.. so, why, then, do so many service pairings involve just that: a brother alone in the territory (even if it's to make a call) with a sister he's not married to?.

I am on a limited income medical pension (Asperger's, multiple-chemical sensitivities, sleep dysfunction), and don't have the constitution to handle debt. So a "good job" for me bears this in mind. Ideally, I'd work from my home computer, where I can control the environment better.

My JC and other elders before that told me that I don't learn it right when I study on my own. I agree that Idon't benefit from reading and marking ahead. Only from using what I hear/ read right away in conversation.
I find that right now I'm doing the best (no problematic mood swings) by testing my thoughts in context with a discussion in progress, like on JWN.
The problem is that there is now a bunch of the latest magazines stacking up, because I need to have an exchange or reading and listening, where I can help others, in order to help myself at all. Even then, I don't retain what help I get for myself spiritually.

can that outline be written? that's be my stumbling block so far. the elders on my JC have refused to come up with anything in writing, despite promising to do so, and despite me explaining to them last time (8 months ago) that I have Asperger's, which they refuse to discuss, though the Awake! experience on the Asperger's pioneer had just come out in the September 2008 issue.

Baptised back in 1992 after 3 years of dysfunctional study twice per week. I've missed an average of 2 gatherings per year in the whole time I've been OUTED.
I like JWN fine, except for ONE BIG THING: my reading of the current literature doesn't happen. That's why I need a study buddy so we can read and discuss each article in the spirit of Philippians 4:8.
